Gratuitous Sexiness: Lamb of God

A little offensive and sacrilegious? Why yes, but these lamb chops from the kitchen of Chef Tory McPhail of Commander's Palace are really just so damn good that the pleasure derived from the sexy cuts is almost unholy. The sauce is maple-infused if I recall correctly, and the medium rare lamb is (wonder of wonders!) not annoyingly masked by a flaky shell of mint, allowing the tender flavor to shine through. I used to be against eating baby animals, but this lamb was my Eden's apple.

  1. speaking of lamb chop *and* Thai food, Basil Leaf serves up a really good lamb chop when they have it on the menu.
