Well, glad I did becasue I loved reading your articles! Not to sound totally self-involved, but it might be because it felt like I was reading it as if I were writing it! Also growing up &amp;#39;jook-sing&amp;#39; on LI (Dix Hills), I felt it really touched upon so many things I&amp;#39;ve seen/experienced as well. &lt;br /&gt;I somehow ended up in the culinary world in nyc, however my parents were not thrilled to say the least - didn&amp;#39;t matter I was working in some of the best restaurants, to them it was almost the same as if I was working in my uncle&amp;#39;s old chinese take-out restaurant (and they def didn&amp;#39;t want that life for me). RIght now I&amp;#39;m back in school and still working in restaurants, so we&amp;#39;ve made some sort of compromise .. I did get a nyc apt out of it.&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, Thank you for writing Su-Jit! =)</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5883634367496676922/3553433989447423832/comments/default/6587754419487424975'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5883634367496676922/3553433989447423832/comments/default/6587754419487424975'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.thevicariousfoodwhore.com/2010/01/all-roads-lead-back-to-home.html?showComment=1265547647483#c6587754419487424975' title=''/><author><name>Sylvia</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/17460789505638414571</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.thevicariousfoodwhore.com/2010/01/all-roads-lead-back-to-home.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5883634367496676922.post-3553433989447423832' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5883634367496676922/posts/default/3553433989447423832' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
